Can we talk about the vendor who ghosted me after a 12k order?
Two months ago I placed a 12k order with a packaging supplier in Chicago and after three follow ups he just stopped answering calls, has anyone else had a supplier disappear like that?

It's like the business version of dating someone who disappears after a few good dates. Once the money's on the line, people suddenly forget how phones work. Saw a guy on Nextdoor complain about a roofer who took a 5k deposit and never showed up again, same pattern. It's wild how common this is, especially with bigger orders where people think you'll just eat the loss. Always makes me wonder if these vendors ever plan on getting new customers or if they just burn every bridge as they go.
