My cat knocked a full mug of coffee onto 4 months of my journal and I just sat there laughing
Last Tuesday morning my orange cat Biscuit decided my open bujo was the perfect landing pad and he came down right through my coffee mug. I watched in slow motion as about half a cup spread across pages going back to March, and the ink on my weekly spreads turned into this blue gray soup. I grabbed paper towels and stuck them between every page but by then the damage was done, so I just laid the whole thing on the radiator to dry. Twenty minutes later it was a wavy, crunchy brick about twice as thick as before. I tried ironing it on low with a dish towel over it, which mostly worked except page 87 now has a faint coffee smell and a cat hair baked into it. Has anyone figured out a way to flatten a waterlogged journal, or is this just my life now?
