I spent $60 on washi tape in one month and I regret almost all of it
I got into bullet journaling about two years ago and fell hard for the washi tape side of it. Over one month last spring I dropped around $60 on rolls from a craft store in Reno and a couple of online orders, and I honestly only use two of the rolls now. The patterned ones looked great in the listing photos but once they were on my pages they made everything look busy and cluttered. Half of them don't even stick well and peel up after a few days, so my weekly spreads start falling apart. I also realized I was covering up mistakes with tape instead of just fixing the layout, which made me worse at planning. The plain solid colors are the ones I keep reaching for, and they cost a third of what the fancy ones did. Did anyone else go overboard on washi and find a way to actually use it up, or should I just give the rest away?
