Pro tip: People overpay for airport transfers in Barcelona

I spent 45 euros on a cab from the airport last year, but the Aerobus is only 6.95 euros and drops you at Plaça Catalunya. Has anyone found a cheaper option for a family of four?

You are totally right, that Aerobus is a lifesaver. I made the same expensive cab mistake on my first trip and felt so silly later. For a family, the metro might be even cheaper if you don't have a huge amount of luggage, the T-10 ticket can cover a bunch of rides. The train from the airport is another solid choice, it connects to the main stations in the city.

How much time does the train usually take compared to the Aerobus? I've heard it can be a bit slower depending on where you're headed in the city, which might matter with tired kids.
