Pro tip: flying Tuesday mornings out of a small airport saved me $212 on a Denver trip
Booked a flight from a regional airport 40 minutes away instead of the big city one. Expected to lose money on gas and parking. Total came out $212 cheaper and I cleared security in 9 minutes. The tradeoff is way fewer flight times, so you have to be flexible on travel days. Anyone else drive out of their way to a smaller airport to save cash?
