Honestly, I thought those overnight bus rides were just a cheap way to get wrecked
Tbh, I took a 9 hour bus from Berlin to Prague last spring to save 60 euros on a train. I packed snacks, wore comfy clothes, and got a window seat. Ngl, I slept almost the whole way and woke up right in the city center, ready to explore with a full day ahead. Has anyone else had a surprisingly good experience with a long bus trip in Europe?

Ever notice we dread things that turn out fine?

My first Flixbus trip was a 12 hour haul from Amsterdam to Paris and I was fully prepared for misery. I used to avoid buses at all costs, thinking they were just cramped and awful. But having my own pillow, a good playlist, and watching the countryside roll by completely changed my mind. Now I actually look for those overnight routes to save on a hotel night too.
