Got stranded at the Denver bus station because I tried to save $12
I was in Denver last month heading home and saw a cheaper bus ticket from some random company instead of Greyhound. Saved like 12 bucks but the bus never showed up and their customer service number was disconnected. I ended up waiting 4 hours in a cold station and had to pay double for a last minute Greyhound ticket. Has anyone else gotten burned by those mystery bus companies that pop up on travel sites?

wait is that even legal for them to list a bus that never shows up? lol i had the same thing happen in chicago with a company called "Red Arrow Express" or something like that. paid $15 less than Greyhound and got a confirmation email but when i showed up the driver looked at my ticket and just shrugged. ended up waiting two hours until the Greyhound driver took pity on me and let me board for half price since i already got scammed. the worst part is those companies still show up on aggregator sites like Wanderu or Busbud months later with a different name.

Hate how those ghost companies just rebrand and keep scamming.
