A friend swore by those overnight bus rides across Europe, and I finally tried one to get from Berlin to Prague.

I was sure it would be a miserable, sleepless trip, but for 25 euros, it was a solid win. The bus had decent seats, free wifi, and I got a full night's rest while covering the distance. Waking up in a new city saved me a hotel night and a travel day. Has anyone else found a specific overnight route that was surprisingly good?

Oh man, same here! I took an overnight bus from Budapest to Krakow on a whim last year and was shocked. The seats were actually comfortable, the bus was quiet, and they even had power outlets. I slept almost the whole way and walked off the bus ready to go. It felt like a total travel hack for saving time and money.

Totally agree. I had the same low expectations for a night bus from Paris to Amsterdam, but it was a game changer. The seats reclined way back, they gave out free water, and the ride was smooth. I woke up feeling rested, grabbed a coffee, and started exploring right away. It felt like getting a free day back.
