The $30 goodwill projector I nearly returned is still going strong
Picked up a used Epson from a thrift store near my folks' place in Dayton, figured it'd die in a week. After swapping the bulb for $18 and adding a blackout curtain, it's been my main setup for 4 months now, even beats my buddy's newer LED unit in dark scenes. Anybody else find gold in the clearance electronics bin or did I just get lucky?

New bulbs usually cost way more than that, so $18 probably means someone's aftermarket junk.
