Serious question, frozen veggies are trash for saving money, right?
They go bad faster than fresh in my fridge and taste like nothing. I'd rather buy seasonal produce on clearance.

Nope, frozen veggies are budget heroes because they last for ages. The flavor is fine since they're frozen right after picking.

Why do we overlook frozen veggies when they're cheap and tasty? This is part of a bigger trend where we dismiss practical options. Like how we avoid store brands even if they work just as well. Frozen food is frozen right after picking, so it's often fresher than stuff that's been sitting around. We need to get past the idea that only fresh is good.

My freezer is full of frozen peas and corn now. I used to avoid them too, but @derek_martinez98 has a point about them being frozen right away. The big win for me is not having to worry about them going bad before I use them. It cuts down on waste, which is where the real savings happens. The taste is fine for soups and stir fries.
