Just realized I've been fast traveling past half of Skyrim for 200 hours
I was complaining to my roommate about how empty the map feels, and then it hit me that I've been opening the map and clicking the nearest marker on every single quest since I got the game three years ago. Rode my horse from Whiterun to Riften without fast traveling once and saw like four random events I never knew existed, including a guy getting robbed by bandits I could actually save. Anyone else catch themselves doing this and have a rule for when fast travel is actually okay?
