The foreman in Tulsa made me soak my trowels overnight, and I finally get why
I was on a job in Tulsa last month and the foreman kept a bucket of water by the mortar board, telling everyone to drop their trowels in at the end of the day. I laughed at first, but after 3 days of scrubbing dried mortar off my favorite trowel, I tried it and the difference was night and day. Does anyone else soak their tools, or am I the only one who was doing it the hard way for years?
