Swore off those fancy moisture meters after the $35 one killed my begonias
I bought one of those digital meters at the Springfield garden center, figured I could finally stop guessing with watering, but it kept saying the soil was dry when it was soaked, and three of my begonias rotted out in a week. Anyone else got burned by those things, or is there a cheap manual way to check that actually works?
