PSA: I thought talking to plants was silly until I tried it for a month

My wife got a fiddle leaf fig that was dropping leaves, and she started talking to it every morning. I thought it was a joke, but after 30 days, the thing had 8 new leaves and looked totally different. The only change was her chatting while she watered it (she said stuff like 'good morning, big guy'). Has anyone else had a plant respond to something that seemed like nonsense at first?

You really think it's that deep? Plants don't have ears, lol.

Correlation isn't causation. That plant probably just finally adjusted to the light and humidity in your house.
