I repotted my phalaenopsis last month and used a bark mix that stayed wet way too long, so the roots rotted within two weeks. It took me 11 days of trimming, drying, and a fungicide soak in my kitchen sink to get it stable again. The plant is finally pushing a new leaf, but I almost lost a 4 year old orchid over soggy media. What mix do you all use for phals in humid climates like Houston?
