Hot take: I thought mulch was just lazy gardening until a master gardener in Denver said one thing to me
She pointed out that a 3 inch layer of shredded leaves keeps soil temps steady and feeds the worms, so now I'm eyeing my bare beds in Fort Collins and wondering if anyone else flipped on mulch after hearing it from someone who actually digs in the dirt?
