Hit 200 species in my backyard last week, never thought I'd get there
I've been keeping a simple list on my phone for 3 years and just crossed 200 native plants in my 1/4 acre lot. The big surprise was the tiny sedges, turns out 40 of them were hiding in one weedy corner I almost mowed over. Anyone else keep a yard species count and hit a number that shocked them?
