My hand therapist gave me exercises that actually make binding easier.

What kind of exercises are we talking about? Like, are they simple squeezes on a stress ball, or more about stretching the fingers back? I'm trying to picture the exact hand motions that would translate to pulling fabric over your shoulders.

How does that even work, hand exercises helping with binding? I used to figure it was just about the chest and back... but now I'm seeing how grip strength and just moving your fingers more could totally make a difference with putting a binder on and taking it off. Kinda blew my mind a little.

Yeah the "grip strength" thing you mentioned... it's wild how many daily tasks secretly need good hand function. I've noticed it with stuff like opening jars or even just carrying grocery bags. We don't think about our hands until they hurt or feel weak, then suddenly a ton of simple stuff gets way harder. It makes total sense that something tricky like a binder would be on that list too.
