Vent: got talked into a 6 hour Twilight Imperium game at a shop in Denver and watched two friends stop speaking to each other
I was at a game night at a shop off Broadway in Denver about 3 weeks ago and a guy at the next table kept saying the phrase "table talk is part of the game." They were playing a big space game and things got tense fast. One player made a deal, then broke it on the next turn, and the other guy packed up his minis and left without saying bye. I get that backstabbing is built into these games but there needs to be a talk before you sit down. What house rules do you all use to keep a long game from wrecking a friend group?
