Took me almost two years to learn how to store my game boards flat without warping
I kept stacking games sideways on an IKEA shelf and after about 18 months the boards started bowing so bad that pieces wouldn't stay in place. Has anyone else dealt with board warping from bad storage choices?

Three grocery store cardboard boxes fixed my board game shelf.

Man cardboard boxes are legit the unsung heroes of home organization. I had a similar thing happen with my DVD collection - just shoved a couple of flat boxes between the rows to stop them from sliding around and it worked perfectly. No fancy brackets or anything, just free boxes from the liquor store down the street. Probably saved me forty bucks compared to those overpriced shelf dividers at the home store. And the best part is when a box gets beat up you just grab another one and toss the old one in recycling. It's not pretty but it gets the job done and nobody sees it anyway.
