Appreciation post: the guy at my local shop who let me lose 3 straight games of Twilight Struggle on purpose
Drove out to the shop in Sacramento last Saturday, got crushed as the USSR three times in a row, and when I finally asked what I was doing wrong he just pointed at the board and said 'you keep fighting for Europe in 1956 instead of making me react to you,' which somehow fixed my whole opening in one sentence, so now I gotta ask: what's the one piece of advice that finally made a heavy game click for you?
