Last year our block party on Maple Street had one long table for all the hot food and the line wrapped past two houses, so a neighbor who runs a food truck said to split it into two shorter tables at opposite ends. We tried it at the June party and the wait dropped from about 20 minutes to under 5. Has anyone else had luck breaking up a serving line like that, or found a better way to handle a big crowd?
