Appreciation post: our street's 4th of July cookout has shrunk from 40 people to about 12 since 2019
Back in 2019 we had three grills going and a whole table of sides on Maple Street, and now the same families just bring a couple bags of chips and leave by 8, so I'm wondering if anyone has brought a block party back from something like that and what actually got folks to show up again.
