Found a stat that says the average blind date costs $187 and I have questions
I was killing time at the laundromat on 5th last week and picked up some lifestyle magazine, and there was a survey in it that said the average person spends $187 getting ready for a single blind date. That is hair, outfit, drinks, parking, all of it. I sat there doing math on my own disaster dates from the past two years and I think I blew past that number more than once, which is a rough thing to realize while your socks are spinning. Some of those nights ended in 40 minutes flat. Curious if anyone here actually budgets for this stuff or if you just swipe the card and deal with it later.
