This empty wall next to my stairs has been bare for 6 months.

I moved into my place near Austin last October and this big wall by the staircase has just been sitting empty. I'm thinking about putting up a gallery wall with maybe 5 or 6 frames but I'm not sure what size to start with. Anyone have a good method for spacing out frames on a tall empty wall like this?

Man I feel you, moving in and having blank walls staring at you for months is the worst. I hung up a gallery wall in my place last year and what worked for me was laying all the frames out on the floor first to figure out spacing. I taped some newspaper outlines on the wall and moved them around for like two hours before I nailed anything into the drywall.
