Masking tape saved my gallery wall from disaster
I put up 14 frames last Saturday in Tacoma and guessed the spacing by eye. First three were crooked, then I tried laying painters tape across the wall and marking each hook spot on it before drilling. Took an extra 20 minutes but every frame is level now. Has anyone else used tape lines for a big layout?

Tape lines are overkill, eyeballing it works fine once you get the hang of it.
