Warning: I started 'Blackwater County' 3 weeks ago and I'm already on season 4
I figured I'd just watch the first episode on a Tuesday night in my garage and now I'm 3 weeks deep and ignoring texts from my brother in Tulsa. The show doesn't have a single bad episode so far and I've been staying up past 1am on weeknights which is wrecking me at work. Has anyone else lost a whole month to this one, or am I the only one who can't hit pause?

Staying up past 1am on weeknights" is how it always starts, and it's never really about the show. It's the same thing as opening your phone for one quick thing and looking up 40 minutes later, or eating one chip. Shows like that are built to never give you a clean stopping point, so the pause button stops working and the clock stops mattering. Three weeks isn't a warning, it's just how long it takes to finish a season you can't quit.
