Honestly, did he actually look like he was enjoying it or was he just powering through because he had nothing else to do? Like was he crying during the seven fishes episode or just staring blankly at the screen the whole time? Tbh that show is so intense for a plane ride I would’ve been stressed just sitting next to him.

Did your friend ever figure out if the guy was actually absorbing any of it or just using it as noise to block out the turbulence? My buddy once sat next to someone who watched an entire season of a show and later admitted he couldn't even remember the main character's name.
