My cat staged a protest during the final episode of Severance
I was on the edge of my couch in Chicago, completely absorbed in the last ten minutes of the season finale, when my cat, Miso, decided the Apple TV remote was a chew toy and changed the input to static. I had to scramble to find the tiny remote under the cushions while my heart was still pounding from the show. Has anyone else had a pet totally ruin a crucial TV moment?

Miso might have saved you from a real shock. That static was probably a blessing in disguise because the actual final scene is just a black screen with credits. The show cuts before you see what happens next. My roommate and I were yelling at the TV when it just ended. Your cat gave you a less frustrating way to take a break from the tension.

Oh man, that is the worst timing ever. My dog did something similar during a big game last year, so I feel your pain. Angela_perry might have a point about the static being a different kind of shock, but still, having to dig for the remote right then sounds like a special kind of torture. Pets really do have a sense for the most inconvenient moments, don't they?
