IMDb's Top 250 has a massive recency bias, prove me wrong
I was scrolling the IMDb Top 250 list last weekend in batch, and over 40 of the top 50 spots are from 2010 or later. Shows like Chernobyl and The Last of Us are ranked higher than classics like The Sopranos or The Wire. Even Band of Brothers sits below stuff that came out 10 years later. Is that just because newer shows have better production quality, or are we just forgetting how good the old ones were? Which older shows do you think deserve to bump a newer one off the list?

Streaming makes new stuff easier to find, so people rate it while it's fresh.
