The 5th Street bike lane curb cut that almost ended me

I hit that stupid angled curb cut near the taco place on 5th Street last Tuesday and my front wheel just slid out, nearly tossed me into a parked SUV. Has anyone else nearly eaten it on those weird driveway ramps that stick out into the lane?

Wait, are you sure it's the curb cut and not just the loose gravel that's always piled up right there? I ride that stretch all the time and honestly those angled ramps are kinda meant to slow you down, they force you to adjust your line.
