Protected lanes downtown beat the painted ones by a mile after 2 months of commuting
I ride the 16th street corridor every day to work. The new concrete barrier section they put in last spring is night and day compared to the green paint lanes over on 5th. Cars actually respect the curb. I don't get honked at or buzzed. Last week a delivery truck parked in the painted lane and I had to swerve into traffic. Has anyone else noticed the difference with the protected infrastructure in your town?
