Unpopular opinion: slowing down on hills made me sweat MORE and I keep flip flopping on it
Two months ago I started coasting up the big hill on my route to the office in Fort Worth, thinking that saving energy meant showing up drier. But I noticed after a week that my back was soaked by the time I got to the locker room, and a coworker said the same thing happens to him. Now I'm stuck between pacing myself up hills to avoid the burn versus just pushing hard and getting it over with, since the slow grind seems to keep me sweating longer. What actually works for you, steady spin or get it done and cool off after?
