Pothole got my front wheel at 6th and Main, still made the 9am standup
Hit a sneaky pothole near the courthouse on Tuesday. My front wheel bent so bad the tire was rubbing the fork. I had to walk three blocks to a shop that fixed it same morning, cost me $28 for a quick true. Got to work 15 minutes late but only sweaty from the walk, not the ride. How do you all spot these craters before they wreck your week?

walk three blocks to a shop" same thing happened to me last month on 3rd, except I noticed the tire hissing before it went flat. Spent $40 on a tube plus a patch kit that I still haven't used. Now I do that cheap trick where you keep your eyes on the car in front of you, watch their tires dip or bounce and you know to slow down. Works like 70% of the time but honestly you just gotta accept some potholes are out to get you.
