Blew $65 on a waterproof backpack for my commute and my shirt was soaked anyway
Bought it at REI back in April because the guy at the counter swore it was the answer to sweaty back syndrome. Rode 5 miles to work in it twice a week for a month. Turns out the problem was never rain getting in. It was me getting cooked inside my own backpack. The padding traps heat and there is zero airflow. Now I just use it for groceries. A $12 rack and a bungee net did more for me than that thing ever did. Anyone found a bag setup that actually keeps your back cool or is a rack the only real answer?
