My truing stand ate my spoke wrench on a Tuesday

Last week in Austin I was dialing in a customer's rear wheel for a gravel build and the Park Tool wrench slipped off a nipple, flew behind the stand, and landed in the grease tray I keep under the bench. Took me 20 minutes to fish it out with a magnet on a stick, and now I'm considering a magnetic mat just for small tools. Has anyone else lost a tool to their own shop setup, or am I the only one with a black hole under the truing stand?
