I overheard a mechanic at the Portland shop say 'grease is not a thread locker' when a new guy was assembling a crank.
It hit me that I've been using a dab of grease on pedal threads for years thinking it helped, but now I'm worried about undertorqued parts backing out, so what's your go-to method for pedals and other critical threads?
