The 2 minute neck strip trick saved my chair from a bleach stain in Houston
Had a client come in for a double process bleach and I was already running 20 minutes behind, so I grabbed my usual neck strips and threw one on without thinking. Halfway through foiling I noticed the strip was slipping and a drip had hit the chair arm, and I knew I was about 30 seconds from a white spot I'd never get out. I started folding the strip in half lengthwise before wrapping it, which gives it a double thick layer right at the front where drips always land. Been doing it every color service for about 6 months now and haven't had a single stain since, plus the fold keeps it from sliding. Anyone else got a quick fix for the drip situation or am I just late to this?
