Client's kid screamed mid-fade and mom blamed me for nicking his ear
Had a 4pm slot at my shop on 5th Street when a mom brought in her 6 year old for a back to school cut. Kid starts thrashing about two minutes in, I pulled the clippers back and still caught a tiny bit of skin on his ear, barely a scratch. She starts going off in front of everyone saying I cut him on purpose and wants a refund plus gas money. I stayed calm, cleaned the nick with a styptic pencil, and offered to finish the cut for free if she could hold him still. She left a one star review anyway. How do you all handle parents who won't control their kids in the chair?
