Why does nobody talk about the week your oven just decides to quit mid bake
Had a stretch in March where I did 14 straight days of good bread, then one Tuesday my oven thermostat crapped out and I torched a batch of 8 loaves at 500 degrees. Nothing humbles you faster than scraping black bottomed sourdough into the trash at 11pm. Anyone else got a horror story about equipment dying at the worst possible moment?
