PSA: a $9 bag of pine shavings beats a $40 hemp bedding bag in my coop, and it is not close
Tried the fancy hemp stuff in my 8x4 coop in Austin for two months and it matted down and smelled by day four, while the plain flake shavings from the feed store off Airport Blvd last me a week and scoop out clean, so has anyone actually found a premium bedding that outperforms shavings or is it all just marketing?
