Chicken integration moves slower than molasses

I've noticed a lot of new keepers get upset when their hens don't buddy up right away. It always requires a bunch of waiting and watching before the pecking order settles, lmao.

Relate to that, @bailey.evan, it's like waiting for a website to load.

Why does it always feel like you're watching paint dry when you're trying to mix new chickens in? I remember being so sure my first batch would be best friends in a day, but I just ended up staring at them for hours like a weirdo. Turns out, chickens have their own slow-motion drama that we can't rush. Honestly, I think I was more stressed about their social life than my own at one point. But hey, now I know to just grab a chair and let them sort it out.
