My lead tech called me out for skipping the bonding jumper on a Garmin install
He said it's fine 99 times out of 100 until that 100th time grounds loop through the audio panel and fries it. Have any of you had a ground loop bite you on a panel swap that should have been straightforward?

Been there too man, that sinking feeling when the smoke test goes wrong is the worst.
