DAE remember when a simple pitot static leak took me 11 hours to find?
Back when I started in the late 90s, we had a Lear 35 come in with a static system leak that nobody could pin down. I spent 11 hours over three days crawling through that thing with a soapy spray bottle before I found a hairline crack in a fitting behind the copilot's side panel. These days you can hook up a digital tester and get a reading in 10 minutes, but I still kind of miss the hunt. Anyone else got a ghost leak story that ate a whole week?
