Checked my logbook the other day and realized I hit 1,000 connector repairs in 18 months.
That's a lot of D-sub pins and backshells. Anyone else keep track of how many connectors they've re-pinned or replaced in a year?

That "1,000 connector repairs in 18 months" is wild. I've never counted that high but I know I've done 40-50 D-subs in a single shift before. It adds up fast when you're building out a rack.
