A retired tech from my old squadron asked me why I still use the paper wiring diagrams, and I didn't have a good answer
He pointed out that I've been pulling up PDFs on my tablet for years anyway, so why do I keep a shelf of folded up schematics from 2003 in the truck, and honestly I think it's just because folding one open feels like the job is really starting.

Watched a buddy do the same thing with his grandpa's old shop manuals, swore the smell of the paper got him in the right headspace before a rebuild. Guess some things just flip a switch in your brain that a screen never will.
