Three years ago I saw a wet spot on the driveway under my 2004 F-150 and figured the heater core was gone, so I bought a $40 core and cleared a whole Saturday for the job. Before I tore into it, my neighbor Ray walked over, looked at the drip spot for two seconds, and told me it was just the AC condensate drain line. Now I put a piece of cardboard under the truck for a day whenever I see a drip, but how do you all tell a normal drip from a real leak without guessing?
