Rant: the guy at the AutoZone in Tulsa sold me the wrong brake pads twice in one trip
Ran into AutoZone on 71st in Tulsa last Saturday to grab front pads for my 2011 Civic. Counter guy pulled a set, I got home, and they were way too small for the bracket. Drove back, showed him the old pad, and he swore up and down it was the same part number. Third time I made him walk out to the lot and eyeball my caliper, turns out he had been pulling pads for a Civic Si the whole time. Two trips and about 40 minutes wasted over a trim level mixup. Anybody else had a parts counter hand you the wrong stuff because they didn't ask year, make, model, and trim?
