I paid $150 extra to ship my Civic in an enclosed trailer and it was worth every penny, here's why
I moved from Phoenix to Seattle last month and got quotes for both open and enclosed transport for my 2019 Civic Si. The open carrier was $850 and the enclosed was $1,000, and I went with enclosed because the car has fresh paint and I didn't want rock chips from 1,400 miles of highway. When it arrived the paint was flawless and the driver showed me his tie-down straps had soft loops, no scratches on the wheels at all. Anyone else pay up for enclosed and feel like it was worth it, or did open carriers work fine for you?

Wait, only $150 more for enclosed? That's way less of a gap than I would've guessed, I figured enclosed was like double the price.
