The dispatcher in Reno asked me one question and I saw I'd been running quotes backwards for 2 years
I was on the phone with a dispatcher in Reno trying to move my sister's Corolla and I started listing off prices I'd collected, cheapest first like always. She cut me off and asked whether the car ran. Turns out I'd been sorting by price for 2 years without ever checking if the cheap brokers could even handle a non-running car, which hers wasn't. The $600 quote I almost went with wouldn't touch it, and the $850 one had a tow built in the whole time. Now I check that box before I even look at numbers. Does anyone else sort by anything besides price first?
